InterActive Network Systems, Inc. owns and operates JerseyNet and PhilaNet and  has been providing quality, high reliability Internet Service in New Jersey and South Eastern Pennsylvania since 1995. 

InterActive is directly connected to the Internet Backbone through five major peering points and maintains its own statewide network spanning virtually all of New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania.   

The Principal Engineer  and President of InterActive Network Systems is Bil Herd.  Mr. Herd has over 19 years experience in the Electronic Engineering field and helped pioneer the home and computer industry in the pre-PC days .  Mr. Herd designed the popular Commodore C128 computer in the 1980s and holds patents in the computer vision field.
